This recipe only requires two simple ingredients. If you prefer to make the pastry yourself, of course you can do that too but using store bought ready made makes this recipe super easy and quick to make with the kids.
For this disney inspired treat, you’ll need Mickey shaped cookie cutters. You can pick these up in all kinds of places, but here are a few from Etsy
Easy Step by Step
- 2 store bought pie crust
- Mickey Mouse cookie cutter
- Gather your ingredients
- Preheat oven to 375F
- Roll out pie crust and cut out mickey cookies
- There will be a top and a bottom. Cut slits on the top.
- On the bottom, spoon on the preserves and add the top piece.
- Around the edge, use a fork to press the two pieces together.
- Bake for 15 – 20 minutes. Keep your eye on them.
Change up the flavor by using different flavors of jams and preserves.
You can go with strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, or even use lemon curd for something zesty or nutella for something chocolate
